Attire Be sure to wear comfortable clothing, so you are ready for The Irish Feats of Strength Competition. Tight pants will not work well in the Senator Craig "Wide Stance" Putting Contest. And, while onesomes, twosomes, threesomes and foursomes have come from around the globe to fiercely compete in Bunk's Tournament, We apologize and cannot allow you to wear the ceremonial golfing attire of your native lands and cultures. No jeans or cut-off shorts "Bundy" are allowed at Coyote Hills Golf Course and all golfers must be wearing collared shirts at time of tee off.

Event Sponsorships We encourage you to look at our sponsorship packages. There are opportunities for every budget and 100% percent of all proceeds go to The Bunk Wurth Recovery Fund. Religious Services for St. Patrick's Day St Patrick's Day Mass will be celebrated at St. Angela Merici Catholic Church in Brea at 8:00 am. Address is 585 S. Walnut Avenue in Brea (714) 529-1821. St. Angela Merici is located one mile from Coyote Hills Golf Course. Driving Range and Putting Area The Driving Range and Putting Area are free and available to use for warm up an hour before the shotgun start. Therefore, you have no excuses for not having your golf game on St. Patty's go down as one of The Greatest Moments In Sports History.
Parking & Taxi Service
There is ample parking adjacent to the Event location. Event staff at the front entrance will call a taxi if one is required. We want you all back next year so please consume in moderation.
Dinner will be served beginning at 7:00PM. If you are not golfing, we welcome you to arrive as early as you would like to enjoy drinks, Irish music, browsing the silent auction items, and socializing with our gracious host Bunk, Bunk's guests, family and friends before sitting down for dinner.

Our Volunteers of Team Bunk & Bunk's Angels are looking forward to serving you up a delicious Irish Dinner, evening of song and celebration. Note: We are still trying to track down Cherry in the above picture and Mr. Diamond has been more than happy to get the word out for us. For Your Listening Pleasure - Cherry, Cherry
Hotel Accommodations We have a number of guests flying-in from out of town as well as driving-in from outside the Orange County area. And, while a number of Bunk’s guests are looking forward to a relaxing day of golf in the sun, a friendly get-together, a nice Irish dinner, Irish music, an evening of interesting conversation and pleasant socializing, and fun with the silent auction and raffle... Believe it or not, there is a certain portion of Bunk’s friends who like to Party, Party, Party!!!
For Bunk's guests who are upstanding, respectable members of society - Not to worry. All of Bunk's friends and known associates have been subjected to an in-depth Friends-Of-Bunk Profiling Process and we have successfully identified many of the hooligans in the above pictures as well as many other splinter-faction groups of The Bunk Partier Organization (The B.P.O.) and we have designated a whole separate 'children's table' area specifically for them and their shenanigans far, far, far away from Bunk's other guests. There are a number of hotels nearby the Coyote Hills Country Club. For those traveling in from out-of-town, those of you who want to keep the party going all-night, and those who just want to cab it to a nearby hotel at the end of the evening - We are encouraging Bunk’s guests to stay at the Marriott-Cal State University. 2701 Nutwood Ave, Fullerton, CA (714) 738-7800
Theme Song for The Irish Feats of Strength We tried to get Tap to sing about Ancient Irish structures and cultures that existed thousands of years ago at the same time that the first known Irish Feats of Strength took place. And, we specifically requested they sing about Newgrange in the Boyne Valley located in County Meath or the Caillaigh Hills at Loughcrew. But seeing as they are a band from Manchester, the closest the guys from Tap could write lyrics for was about another ancient Celtic mystery across the Irish Sea in England. Our apologies to The Irish diehards for the faux pas. THE IRISH FEATS OF STRENGTH Many ages ago in times long since past, the clans of Ireland would make the annual pilgrimage from all across the Island’s villages, towns and commonwealths to proudly represent the friendship and solidarity between the five provinces of Leinster, Meath, Connacht, Munster and Ulster. From the emerald green shires of Bann and Lagan in County Antrim to the wind-swept Cliffs of Moher in County Clare, the Celtic sons and daughters of Éire would gather together in a week of games, festivities and contests to prove their valor as warriors, test their skills as hunters and demonstrate their bravery, virtue and courage. Lost in the mists of time, The Irish Feats of Strength slowly passed out of knowledge. Tales of heroic struggles, hard fought battles and epic duals on the playing fields slowly became legend and legend eventually became myth. Shrouded in mystery and guarded deep within the foreboding labyrinths of secrecy, it was only in the most ancient and far-off regions of Ireland, that cryptic echoes could sometimes be heard faintly calling out from the distant past and were all that remained of the spirits of the games. The Irish Feats of Strength were all but forgotten, until one day it was decided that it was time again to bring the games back to celebrate and share Saint Patrick’s Day with one of the friendliest lads one will ever have the good pleasure of meeting as well as far and away one of the toughest and bravest sons of Ireland who all amongst us have the honor of being able to call our good friend – Alec ‘Bunk’ Wurth. Unspoken Éire folklore and whispers of ancient Celtic tails as old as the Forests of Killarney and the Hill of Tara forewarn all that The Irish Feats of Strength don’t build character. But, rather they reveal it. Consisting of 5 individual events, The Irish Sword, The Irish Crossbow, The Irish Sling Shot, The Irish Spear, and The Irish Catapult, each game challenges the skills, wits and the very essence of the true fortitude of its competitors. Only the most pure of heart and mind will be able to successfully best the obstacles they must face and answer the call of the gauntlet thrown down before them. For, it is only through drawing upon the wisdom of the words ‘Gan Drochlaethanta Ar Bith’ that one can succeed in both the games as well as in life and thereby be crowned Champion of The Irish Feats of Strength. To those who choose to partake in The Irish Feats of Strength - We Salute You. And, Always Remember ‘Gan Drochlaethanta Ar Bith’.
